The Huichols are a small indigenous group of people living in the mountains of northwestern Mexico spread over a remote, canyon-etched land covering parts of the states of Nayarit, Jalisco, and Durango. They would say according to their traditions, "The world was sung into existence by the Gods and it exists now as a song."

Five years in the making, this moving film documents the work of those on the Shamanic path in the Huichol tradition.

Interviews with Shamans Don Jose, Eliot Cowan and David Wiley among others open a door to the work, dedication and gifts of those on this path of service.
