Blue Deer Center

There are places in the world that hold a special presence, that offer unique gifts. One such place is the land at Blue Deer Center. In earliest times, this level grassland next to the water’s edge was known as a place for coming together. People of many tribes would gather here to find wisdom, healing and reconciliation.

Blue Deer Center offers special opportunities for deep healing work and is a gathering place for those who recognize the necessity of honoring, practicing and passing down the wisdom of traditional indigenous lifeways.

The Center was founded to help all people re-discover and develop their innate and intimate connection with the spirits of the living world. The BDC offers life-changing experiences by reconnecting people to the world’s original spiritual practices.

Sacred Fire Foundation

The Mission of The Sacred Fire Foundation Inc. is to foster global wellness through initiatives that preserve indigenous spiritual and cultural traditions and to support the individuals, groups and communities, indigenous or otherwise, that endeavor to deepen and/or keep these methods and traditions alive.

Sacred Fire Magazine

Sacred Fire is the quarterly publication of the Sacred Fire Foundation forged from the ancient tradition of sharing stories, healing, wisdom, humor and community around a fire. Sacred Fire’s pages feature essays, articles, poetry, fiction and art that dare to recognize the divine energies alive and at play in the world today. Our contributors are writers and artists who create from the heart, because the heart’s fire is our most essential source of inspiration, connection and emotional truth. Every issue is a colorful, beautifully designed celebration of creative energy.
